The Edmonton Journal reported Wednesday that Betts’ agent will hold a second meeting with the Canucks and will meet them at the Edmonton facility Thursday to discuss Betts.
Betts, 30, has been a member of the Canucks since 2013 and was among the league’s top goaltenders in 2015-16.
He was 20-5-3 with a 2.29 goals-against average, a .926 save percentage and two shutouts in 22 games.
Betters was drafted in the fourth round (No. 164) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
