There are many rumors swirling around the Atlanta Falcons, including that they are in talks to trade for Atlanta Falcons linebacker Ryan Braun.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Thursday that Braun has been traded to the New York Giants, but did not say what teams have expressed interest.ESPN.com reported that Braun is set to make $7 million this season.
Braun has four sacks and has been selected to the Pro Bowl in each of the last two seasons.
The Braves have a history of trading away players with limited impact.
Braun, a two-time All-Pro and Super Bowl champion, is signed through 2020.
He was signed as a free agent by the Falcons in 2011.
The report comes as teams continue to look for depth on the defensive line.
The Saints, Vikings, Jaguars, Bears and Eagles are among teams that are believed to be pursuing players at defensive tackle.
The NFL Players Association on Thursday said it had no comment on the reports.
Braun, 33, is averaging 3.9 sacks and 31.5 tackles for loss.
