Dallas Stars trade Nick Ritchie to the Winnipeg Jets for a conditional conditional draft pick
ESPN Crikey’s Elliotte Friedman reports the Dallas Stars have traded forward Nick Riggins to the Manitoba Moose for a fourth-round draft pick.
Riggins, who has four goals and five assists in 34 games with the Jets, is a two-way forward and has played both sides of the puck.
The 29-year-old Riggins spent most of last season with the St. Louis Blues.
The Winnipeg Jets will be receiving a fourth round pick from the Stars in exchange for the player’s rights, according to Friedman.
Ritchie, who is a free agent after the season, was acquired from the Blackhawks on March 14, and has three goals and four assists in 31 games with Winnipeg this season.
