DALLAS — The Dallas Cowboys traded cornerback Joes on Monday to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a fourth-rounder and a conditional second-round selection, the team announced.
The third-round and fourth- round selections will be awarded on Tuesday.
The deal comes on the heels of a trade that sent wide receiver Travis Benjamin to the New York Jets on Monday.
The Browns added cornerback Chris Carter and receiver Dorial Green-Beckham.
The Cowboys acquired Carter in the trade for quarterback Chase Daniel and receiver Terrence Brooks.
The trade came as the Cowboys were working to free up cap space.
The team also sent cornerback Jason Verrett to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange.
